Philadelphia native Armanni Reign dominated 2010. He headlined the Nightlife 5 tour with Andy C, performed at the biggest festivals in North America, and dropped vocals on some of the biggest tunes of the year—and this is just the start of things. His flawless stage performances, massive crowd appeal and incredible lyrical skill have won over fans from Los Angeles to London, Australia to Argentina.
Mr Reign has teamed up with LA-based label group Westbay Music with a solid slate of releases scheduled. Included in the series is the highly anticipated “Follow Me Now” single produced by Noah D, with remixes by Flinch & Kosta, Trowa, P5 Army & more. This is all leading up to Armanni’s debut EP “Off the Grid” which is scheduled for release in February 2011.
Produced by Atlantic Connection, ‘The Art of War’ opens up with smoothly-layered kicks and snares backed by haunting atmospherics that reshape and build as they engage Mr. Reigns vocal. Armanni wastes no time in delivering a spaced-out hook that twists listeners into a state of unfiltered information while low-end subs set the pace. The Insiders Remix takes it straight to the dance floor delivering a cutthroat remix complete with a super-charged tech-type bassline accented with guttural midrange punches that morph the dance floor into a state of sci-fi bliss.
